Apple fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, and according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the tech giant is set to unveil new MacBook models at the event. The new laptops include a larger 15-inch MacBook Air, an updated 13-inch MacBook Air, and an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro.

While Gurman has noted that the new MacBook models will likely not feature Apple's next-generation M3 chip, they are expected to be powered by processors similar to the current M2 chip. While the details are not entirely clear, it is speculated that the 15-inch MacBook Air will be powered by the M2 chip as well.

Rumors of a 15-inch MacBook Air have been circulating since early 2021, and recent reports suggest that the laptop is nearing release. In fact, Apple's suppliers have already ramped up production of 15-inch display panels for the laptop, and the machine has even surfaced in App Store developer logs.

Aside from the new MacBook models, Apple is also expected to announce the latest version of macOS, macOS 14, during the WWDC keynote on June 5. Gurman has indicated that the update may not include any major changes.

Stay tuned for more updates on Apple's new MacBook models and other exciting announcements from WWDC 2023.
